No need to act surprised when I say that I'm aware of how you wonder
everyday of what it is that makes you want to go away when there really is
no reason for you not to stay.
See, I know that there are things in your past that you have to deal with and
I know you thought these wounds, they would heal with time, but it turns out
they're much harder than you thought that they would be. And you feel it, oh,
so deep every time you look at me.
But if you stay by my side, then one day when we've grown older, you'll look
at me and smile and you'll say:
"Do you remember back when we were 26? I used to feel like I was so much
older. Do you remember how I used to reminisce and look back on what I

Não precisa agir surpreso quando eu digo que sei como você se pergunta
todo dia o que é que te faz querer ir embora quando na verdade não há
razão pra você não ficar.
Veja, eu sei que há coisas no seu passado que você precisa enfrentar e
sei que você achou que essas feridas iriam cicatrizar com o tempo, mas
acontece que são muito mais difíceis do que você pensou que seriam. E você sente isso, oh,
tão profundo toda vez que me olha.
Mas se você ficar ao meu lado, então um dia, quando estivermos mais velhos, você vai olhar

"Você se lembra quando tínhamos 26? Eu costumava sentir que era muito mais
velho. Você se lembra como eu costumava relembrar e olhar pra trás no que eu
deveria ter feito? Não é absurdo?"

Então, eu estou te pedindo pra reconsiderar, pense em todos os bons momentos que tivemos.
