Innocent Child
I never understood
The way she looked at me that day
She seemed lost in her world
Alone and so afraid
She used to live with such intensity
That it seemed that the world was in her hands
She was one of those girls
That believed in princess and in charmed lands
In poetry and happiness
In evil in certain way she didn't want to believe
She was so pure and she used to say, "I love life everyday"
She's no longer that innocent child
She was forced to grow to survive
In this world of madness and pain
She learned what is walk in the rain
She saw the tru world without lies
And she stopped believing in God...
She doesn't want...
Oh, she doesn't want to feel love again
She didn't believe that the world
Could be this fucking mad
Every day it's all the same
She fights to stay alive
Beneath her smile she hides her pain
She is the victim of her life
She's no longer that innocent child
She was forced to grow to survive
In this world of madness and pain

Eu nunca entendi
A forma como ela olhou pra mim naquele dia
Ela parecia perdida em seu mundo
Sozinha e tão assustada
Ela costumava viver com tanta intensidade
Que parecia que o mundo estava em suas mãos
Ela era uma daquelas garotas
Que acreditava em princesas e terras encantadas
Em poesia e felicidade
No mal de um jeito que ela não queria acreditar
Ela era tão pura e costumava dizer: "Eu amo a vida todo dia"
Ela não é mais aquela criança inocente
Foi forçada a crescer pra sobreviver
Neste mundo de loucura e dor
Ela aprendeu o que é andar na chuva
Ela viu o verdadeiro mundo sem mentiras
E parou de acreditar em Deus...
Ela não quer...
Oh, ela não quer sentir amor de novo
Ela não acreditava que o mundo
Poderia ser tão maluco assim
Todo dia é tudo igual
Ela luta pra se manter viva
Por trás do sorriso, ela esconde sua dor
Ela é a vítima da sua vida
Ela não é mais aquela criança inocente
Foi forçada a crescer pra sobreviver
