The system is not only trying to control our minds but thru genetic engineering they're now able to manipulate/change our plants, animals and bodies. One of the most alarming aspects of this genetic engineering is that it is occuring with virtually no level of public debate or regulation. Gen foods are being sold in the supermarket without long-term testing, and almost no understanding of the widespread effect such products might have on our precious ecosystem. Perhaps the biggest fight right now is over the right of companies to patent life. Dario Fo: 'This will hand in control over the to the few industries rich enough to buy the patents, thereby effectively transforming life itself into a commodity good to be altered on the whim of partisan commercial interest'.

Um dos aspectos mais alarmantes dessa engenharia genética é que está ocorrendo com praticamente nenhum nível de debate público ou regulação. Alimentos geneticamente modificados estão sendo vendidos no supermercado sem testes a longo prazo, e quase sem entendimento do efeito generalizado que tais produtos podem ter em nosso precioso ecossistema. Talvez a maior luta agora seja sobre o direito das empresas de patentear a vida.
