Infected deluded, beguiled by such promise

Lurking silently in hunger

In hunger death defined
The ways of water shift beneath my feet
Gazing downward at the rushing reflection of malice
Haunting passages bleed over through time
Corrupting, denying, warping every breath they take
Appearing to walk on water I merely step through surge
Crushing the bones of the condemned
