because I'm not that funny of a guy, and besides
I've got too many questions in my mind
like why do I so often resent the world I'm living in?
and am I boring you yet with the same old shit again?
did you know that change is within reach?
and it starts with ourselves.
the stuff we learn and the stuff we teach!
the willingness to be honest with ourselves
and everybody else is the first step to cooling this hell
and did you know that music is a very powerful thing?
and lyrics can be more than just mindless singing?
and maybe you can't change the world, but you can change yourself
and the music should be fun, but sometimes there's something else...

the patches that you wear and the spikes on your head are nothing but a fashion show
and you judge everyone on a sliding scale of "punk" like you were the first one
you say music with a message is a fucking bore?
I guess it takes away from the punk points you score

porque eu não sou tão engraçado assim, e além disso
estou cheio de perguntas na minha cabeça
como por que eu frequentemente resisto ao mundo em que vivo?
e será que já estou te entediando com as mesmas coisas de novo?

a disposição de sermos honestos com nós mesmos
e com todo mundo é o primeiro passo para esfriar esse inferno

e talvez você não consiga mudar o mundo, mas pode mudar a si mesmo
