E rejeitou quando estendi minha mão para você
And you didn't react when i reached out my hand to you
Você afastou meus conselhos
As you let my advice drain away
E rejeitou minhas advertências
And you didn't accept my rebuke

Por isso vou sorrir quando seu dia chegar
Therefore shall i smile when your day has come
E te desprezarei quando as coisas que você teme estiverem próximas
And despise you when things that you fear are near
Quando seus medos vierem como tempestade
When your fear comes like a storm
Haverá angústia e dor
There will be anguish and pain

Chamarão por mim, mas não responderei
Then they will call to me but i shall not answer
Procurarão por mim, mas nada encontrarão
They will look for me but nothing will be found
Desde que odiaram o conhecimento e não escolheram temer ao Senhor
Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the lord
Não aceitaram meu conselho e afastaram minha advertência
They would not accept my advice and spurred my rebuke

Comerão do fruto de seus caminhos
They will eat the fruit of their ways
E se fartarão no vinho de suas tramas
And be filled with the wine of their schemes
Mas aquele que Me ouvir
But the one who listens to me
Este viverá em segurança
He will live in security

E terá forças para enfrentar a maldição da morte
And be sheltered against the curse of death
Sabedoria está me chamando
