The Church Will Ascend

The day approaches, the night will cease
In the heavens a new light will be revealed
Signs in the firmament, the earth trembling
The ancient promise, we will see it come to pass
The bridegroom comes to seek the beloved who waited
In white robes, without stain, without fear

When the trumpet sounds, the voice from heaven calls
The Church will ascend, to dwell forever with the Father
Eyes will see, glory will be shown
Jesus comes to take us, there's no more reason to cry
And those who remained, judgment they will find
But the faithful, in the cloud, with Him will rise

There's no time to lose, it's time to watch
The oil in the lamps must not run out
Thirsty souls need to hear
That there is a Savior who can still rescue them
Repentance and faith, the door will open
To a new time, a new future
