This old sinful body, sometimes it makes me sigh and groan.

Yeah, I was on a good-healthy-draft-fightin'-lovin'-peace-tokin'-LSD-world-philosophy-bold-cold-hot-guitar-pickin'-psychedelic-wizard-blind-mystic-one-way ticket to everlasting death. The devil was always offering me the best but giving me the worst. He offered me freedom and then tied my hands behind my back. When torment set in he laughed at me so I tried Scientology, yoga, self-realization, meditating, good worldly things, but I just kept sinking lower. I tried everything but Jesus. There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Esse corpo pecador, às vezes me faz suspirar e gemer.

E eu descobri o que significa estar sozinho.
É, eu estava em um mundo de saúde, luta, amor, paz, drogas, filosofia, ousadia, frio, calor, tocando guitarra, um mago psicodélico, um místico cego, com um bilhete só de ida para a morte eterna. O diabo sempre me oferecia o melhor, mas me dava o pior. Ele me ofereceu liberdade e depois amarrou minhas mãos nas costas. Quando o tormento começou, ele ria de mim, então eu tentei a Cientologia, yoga, auto-realização, meditação, coisas boas do mundo, mas eu só afundava mais. Eu tentei de tudo, menos Jesus. Há um caminho que parece certo para o homem, mas o fim dele são os caminhos da morte.
