Army of Darkness

(they groaned, they stirred, they all uprose
No move nor spark in their eyes
It has been so strange even in a dream
To have seen those dead men rise)

Beyond the wall of sleep
Deep in the darkest thoughts of old
I found the doors to hell open
And evil lurking outside

Shady ghosts, lost souls
Army of Azathoth the crazy one,
Ready to fill the world of dreams
With despair and nightmare
And all of them shrieking :

"We are the Ghosts
Of your faltering soul
We come together
And strike like storm"

"For we are the Ghosts
Of your dispelling soul
You ought to be ready
To leave your old weary world"

Now I fear the truth
For this demonic horde we created
Has sprung in the decaying minds
Of this crazy humanity

"Burning, the black fire of death we are
the ill-fated human being shall be consumed
hail to the violence, for the new kingdom has come
from your decaying and weak humanity"

I try to hide in the depth of my mind
But the madness of their taunts
Is reaching me and begin
To make my soul … become like theirs !

"For we are the Ghosts
Of your dispelling soul…."
