I watched the world sedate itself,
and as I prayed I found myself,
opened to the moon kissed sky...
In the dark I wondered why, everything must be so hard,
I watched the world and dreamed of light.
I saw the pictures lying still,
I watched the world and tried to sleep.
Within myself I saw the cracks where all the pains of life leak through.
I watched the world sedate itself,
I prayed to God that it would end...
I watched the world, through my reflection,
I watched the world, and waved hello...
I watched the world, I said hello.

Imobilidade
Eu vi o mundo se acalmar,
eu, enquanto orava, me encontrei,
aberto para o céu beijado pela lua...
Na escuridão, me perguntei por que, tudo precisa ser tão difícil,
eu vi o mundo e sonhei com a luz.
Eu vi as imagens paradas,
eu vi o mundo e tentei dormir.
Dentro de mim, vi as fissuras por onde todas as dores da vida vazam.
Eu vi o mundo se acalmar,
eu rezei a Deus para que tudo acabasse...
Eu vi o mundo, através do meu reflexo,
eu vi o mundo e acenei um oi...
Eu vi o mundo, eu disse oi.
Aí vem o sol...
