Fuzzy Planet

If I could fly
Hug the night sky, kiss the Moon goodnight
And after I
Fall back through the atmosphere, ignite
A ball of flames, streaking colors
My tears with dust make rain
Colors collide with luscious splendor
Naked and alive

In love, I've landed
On thorns that lurk just under this fuzzy planet
I will, I must adjust my thrust, my purpose, my wanderlust

Come out, come in
A hazy shade of summer that never ends
We are just waves that spend our days rolling and crashing in

I have been in this soft existence, I'm fragile and blistering
Down under skin, a seed's been planted, the beauty of everything

I'm falling back
The undulating surface pulls me back
Down through the frame, stumbling through fleeting bursts of flame
I'll follow light down through the valleys flooded with the night
Cascading views, a fuzzy planet, resplendent with the hues

Starlight stretched in lines
Entangled space and time
Moonlight this night sublime
My fuzzy heart unwinds
