This Liminal Life
It's a waste of breath to try and fight inevitability.
There's something lurking deep inside the belly of certainty.
And it's got a plan for us
Inside ourselves and in God we trust
Because we've lost it and felt it somewhere.
This liminal life has got me down.
So I'll accept the night when it cancels out the morning sun.
And you'll reject the world for what you think it hasn't done.
But what more can we do?
It'll be waiting here, without me but with you
Listening intently and waiting patiently.

In a blink of an eye it'll be gone anyway
So live this well.

É um desperdício de fôlego tentar lutar contra a inevitabilidade.
Tem algo escondido bem fundo na barriga da certeza.
E isso tem um plano pra nós
Dentro de nós mesmos e em Deus confiamos
Porque já perdemos e sentimos isso em algum lugar.
Esta vida liminal me deixou pra baixo.
Então eu vou aceitar a noite quando ela cancelar o sol da manhã.
E você vai rejeitar o mundo pelo que acha que ele não fez.
Mas o que mais podemos fazer?
Ela vai estar aqui esperando, sem mim, mas com você
Ouvindo atentamente e esperando pacientemente.
