Arctic Jungle
In the arctic jungle
It's cold and damp
I see ice sickles
Hanging from the steaming branch
The steaming branch is sweltering
in the humid sun
The thick dense growth cuddles
in the sticky mud
The temperatures so high so low
it makes them want to run
Cyprus trees in swampy land
Are frozen solid yet still stand
Polar bears in the hail forest
Found the river's water warm at best
Penguin Birds along the perma-steam
Find the heat unbearably keen
So here we are in the arctic jungle
A mass of heat and frozen bungle
The jungle animals are searching
for their fur coats
The freezing environment is not
limited to moats
The palm trees shiver and
the mosquitos are taking notes
Steaming hot frozen cold
The mercury is getting old
Equator arctic ring
the circle of collision it doth bring
Slurred words from the burning freeze
Arctic heat brings you to your knees
Selva Ártica
Na selva ártica
É frio e úmido
Vejo estalactites de gelo
Pendendo do galho fumegante
O galho fumegante está derretendo
sob o sol úmido
O denso crescimento abraça
na lama pegajosa
As temperaturas tão altas e tão baixas
fazem eles quererem correr
Ciprestes em terras pantanosas
Estão congelados, mas ainda de pé
Ursos polares na floresta de granizo
Encontraram a água do rio morna, no máximo
Pinguins ao longo do vapor eterno
Acham o calor insuportavelmente intenso
Então aqui estamos na selva ártica
Uma massa de calor e confusão congelada
Os animais da selva estão procurando
por seus casacos de pelagem
O ambiente congelante não se limita
a fossos
As palmeiras tremem e
os mosquitos estão anotando
Quente e úmido, frio e congelado
O mercúrio está ficando velho
Equador, anel ártico
o círculo de colisão que traz
Palavras arrastadas do frio ardente
O calor ártico te faz ajoelhar.
