I feel its breath as it crawls nearer, shattering all
The air turns cold, suffocating my cries, paralyzed in woe

Why the hell do I fight?
Every breath fuels my pain
I can’t run from the night
When the sickness knows my name
Whispers lies in my ear
Every scream fades away
The abyss draws me near
In its grip, I will stay

I scream to the void
Only silence answers
Why?

Show me the way

That tears through the night

It's burning in my veins
I am broken
I feel it rise, it's consuming my mind
Erasing the hope I once had

Its weight, its chain
I'm endlessly confined
