Tangled Web

My emotions are like a tangled web
A jumbled mess inside my head
Anger, frustration, and sadness too
A stormy sea I can't break through

I try to sort and make them right
Untangle and bring them to the light
But the more I struggle, the more they bind
And the harder it is to ease my mind

I long for freedom, to break away
To see the Sun and seize the day

Yet in the midst of all the chaos and pain
A glimmer of hope, a light to sustain
I know that I can find my way
Out of the web, into a brighter day

So I take a deep breath and start to untangle
One strand at a time, I'll disentangle
It may be hard, but I won't give in
I'll find my way out, and let joy begin
