Can't take this anymore
Holy Spirit manifest your being
Comfort this soul,
So that I can start singing of that peaceful feeling that any minute now you'll be bringing
Grace grows in winter I am told
But that's not what I want to hear right now, truth be known
It's you Father that I desire
So put out this unholy fire
And set ablaze me anew
With a peace that comes only from you
Where else can I turn and what else may I do?

Tô tão cansado!
E desconfiado…
E desanimado…
Para essa mente parar de correr o tempo todo
Paz tranquila, venha aqui, seja minha
Estava aqui antes, mas agora já foi e não tá mais à vista!
Nesta noite inquieta, sem sono, com o nariz entupido à esquerda
Eu me lembro do sono
E como era confortável
Mas agora só me deixa na falta
Porque até lá esses pensamentos não param de tagarelar
Então eu, eu caio no chão e de joelhos machucados começo a bater na sua porta.
Não aguento mais isso
Espírito Santo, manifeste sua presença
Conforte essa alma,
Pra que eu possa começar a cantar sobre aquele sentimento de paz que a qualquer momento você vai trazer
Dizem que a graça cresce no inverno
Mas isso não é o que eu quero ouvir agora, pra ser sincero
É você, Pai, que eu desejo
Então apague esse fogo impuro
E acenda em mim algo novo
Com uma paz que vem só de você
Pra onde mais posso me voltar e o que mais posso fazer?
