Elfland

At dawn they sing where dew is spun
With silver words and rays of Sun
Their fingers trace the budding stems
And life awakens in woodland hems

They dance where petals seek the skies
And scatter seeds as soft winds rise
With laughter light and footfalls fleet
The meadows bloom beneath their feet

Beneath the Moon, where shadows fall
They breathe on bark to make trees tall
Their ancient songs in silence sown
And forests rise where none had grown
