Rest assured
I fly home just to lay myself down
My father’s gone under
I'm not around to give him my shoulders

I can lie and say
I’ve tried to leave sooner
But being a stranger feels a lot better
When I'm up to the pager

It’s horrible, but I'm thrilled to know
