A traveler from an ancient land
Spoke of cities in the sand
That rose so high, and then faded away...
How change is like a raging wind
That lives and dies and lives again
And tests the very heart of all we dream
So, what will we create
And what will we destroy
In this dream of life
On this fragile voyage

Uncertain is the open road
And where it ends I cannot know
Until I see the sunrise one last time
If who we are is all we keep
When we awaken from this sleep

O Sonho da Vida
Um viajante de uma terra antiga
Falou de cidades na areia
Que se erguiam tão alto, e depois desapareciam...
Como a mudança é como um vento furioso
Que vive e morre e vive de novo
E testa o coração de tudo que sonhamos
Então, o que vamos criar
E o que vamos destruir
Neste sonho da vida
Nesta viagem frágil
Quando estamos caminhando no sonho da vida?
Incerta é a estrada aberta
E onde ela termina eu não sei
