Wanderlust

Every once in a while in a woman's life

She's got to pack her bags and hit that trail

She's got to bid farewell to the ones she loves

She's got a case of wanderlust and she's got to set sail

Cause she felt that wind blow from the southeast

That means change, she's got to scratch those itchy feet

There's a little bit of gypsy in everyone's heart

And sometimes you've got to listen to that part

You can't quit your job, no you can't leave school

If you just take it easy you can work your way up

In the typing pool

You have a great apartment, they're so hard to find

What about the pension plan, better change your mind

When that urge to roam can't be put down

Take out your money, give away the sofa and blow this town

Maybe just for a while or until god knows
