Humilhado (Lucas 18: 10-14)

Satan knows your weaknesses, HE knows just how to tempt you,

You'll get hit at your weakest moment, Fall into sin again and again,

Then depression sets in, you feel so bad that you've fallen again,

You feel too ashamed to turn back to God, then you begin to turn away.

Resistance against Satan is not futile, the bible says

resist him and he'll flee from you.

Humble yourself before God and He'll life you up, Draw near

to Him and He'll draw near to you. Don't turn away from Jesus, He wants to heal your heart and make you whole. Confess your sins and repent, All Christians stumble

and make mistakes, Who can save us from our bodies of death, JESUS!

Never rationalize your sin, Never tell yourself it's not that bad,

Never justify your sin, finding reasons to say it's not your fault or that it's not wrong,

Mourn and wail against your sin, Bring it to God and He'll forgive you, Our spirits seek righteousness and God, our flesh is weak, they're in constant war.

Submission to God is the only way to defeat evil, Our Lord and Savior Jesus is the way.

There were some people who were confident of their own righteousness.

They looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable.

Two men went up to the temple to pray.

One a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.

The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself - "God I thank you that I am not like other men.

Robbers, evildoers, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get."

But the tax collector stood at a distance.

He would not even look up to Heaven, but beat his chest and said "God have mercy on me, a sinner."

I tell you the tax collector rather than the Pharisee went home justified before God...

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Satanás conhece suas fraquezas, ele sabe exatamente como te tentar,

Você vai ser atingido no seu momento mais fraco, caindo em pecado de novo e de novo,

Então a depressão chega, você se sente tão mal por ter caído outra vez,

Você se sente envergonhado demais para voltar a Deus, e então começa a se afastar.

Resistir a Satanás não é em vão, a bíblia diz

resista a ele e ele fugirá de você.

Humilhe-se diante de Deus e Ele te exaltará, aproxime-se

Dele e Ele se aproximará de você. Não se afaste de Jesus, Ele quer curar seu coração e te fazer inteiro. Confesse seus pecados e se arrependa, todos os cristãos tropeçam

E cometem erros, quem pode nos salvar de nossos corpos de morte? JESUS!

Nunca racionalize seu pecado, nunca diga a si mesmo que não é tão ruim,

Nunca justifique seu pecado, encontrando razões para dizer que não é sua culpa ou que não está errado,

Lamente e clame contra seu pecado, traga isso a Deus e Ele te perdoará, nossos espíritos buscam a justiça e a Deus, nossa carne é fraca, estão em constante guerra.

A submissão a Deus é o único jeito de derrotar o mal, nosso Senhor e Salvador Jesus é o caminho.

Havia algumas pessoas que estavam confiantes em sua própria justiça.

Elas olhavam de cima para os outros, Jesus contou esta parábola.

Dois homens subiram ao templo para orar.

Um era fariseu e o outro um cobrador de impostos.

O fariseu se levantou e orou sobre si mesmo - "Deus, agradeço-te por não ser como os outros homens.

Ladrões, malfeitores, adúlteros, ou mesmo como este cobrador de impostos.

Eu jejuo duas vezes por semana e dou um décimo de tudo que ganho."

Mas o cobrador de impostos ficou à distância.

Ele não ousou nem olhar para o céu, mas bateu no peito e disse: "Deus, tem misericórdia de mim, um pecador."

Eu te digo, o cobrador de impostos, ao invés do fariseu, voltou para casa justificado diante de Deus...

Pois todo aquele que se exalta será humilhado, e quem se humilha será exaltado.
