Disobediance
One morning the duke then
Is looking down the courtyard
A sight so cruel and cold,
An act of violence-so senseless,
The silence is like a moaning scream,
Death takes everything, just like here...
With the sun the light is fading...
"Did the murder change my world?"
Who am I-am or beast?
I did it but still lost
Did I speak fair words in my decision,
Or was it just an awful murder?
I`m of royal blood, noble and pure
I can`t be the murder once more
I want to lead my people with just hand,
My disgrace shall be forgotten then
I want to ban the devil from my body,
to reach the holy blessing now
Some days later, the duke is haunting
He meets two poachers by surprise
"Who has given you the right to hunt?
At this old tree you shall find death
The words I speak´, they are the law,
Disobediance is paid with death!
I`m of royal blood and I will rule,
Who disobeys me is to lose!
He is to lose everything he owns,
For my anger is my world`s rule

Uma manhã o duque então
Olha para o pátio
Uma cena tão cruel e fria,
Um ato de violência - tão sem sentido,
O silêncio é como um grito de dor,
A morte leva tudo, assim como aqui...
Com o sol a luz vai se apagando...
"O assassinato mudou meu mundo?"
Quem sou eu - homem ou besta?
Eu fiz isso, mas ainda perdi
Falei palavras justas na minha decisão,
Ou foi apenas um assassinato horrível?
Sou de sangue real, nobre e puro
Não posso ser o assassino mais uma vez
Quero liderar meu povo com mão justa,
Minha desgraça será esquecida então
Quero banir o diabo do meu corpo,
Para alcançar a bênção sagrada agora
Alguns dias depois, o duque está assombrado
Ele encontra dois caçadores de surpresa
"Quem deu a vocês o direito de caçar?
Nesta velha árvore vocês encontrarão a morte
As palavras que falo, elas são a lei,
Desobediência se paga com a morte!
Sou de sangue real e vou governar,
Quem me desobedece vai perder!
Ele vai perder tudo que possui,
Pois minha raiva é a regra do meu mundo
