The King
A king whose crown is on his shoulders,
and not on his head,
it's not down on a throne of daily reality
among different images about a medieval future.
A monarch has a long life dreaming about a queen
about governing a bit of something
and is obliged to work and sleep without resisting
and he can't enjoy himself even dream.
Poor king, crossing the barriers of reality
he neither has voice or vote,
and nobody gives him loyalties
not even the poorer artisan
shows a certain reverence at his honor.
They don't let him govern even his head.
Too much pressure makes him loose his hopes
Of dreaming free, free of dreaming of submission.
O Rei
Um rei cuja coroa está em seus ombros,
e não em sua cabeça,
não está em um trono da realidade diária
entre diferentes imagens de um futuro medieval.
Um monarca tem uma longa vida sonhando com uma rainha
sobre governar um pouco de algo
e é obrigado a trabalhar e dormir sem resistir
e ele não pode se divertir nem sonhar.
Pobre rei, atravessando as barreiras da realidade
ele não tem voz nem voto,
e ninguém lhe dá lealdade
nem mesmo o artesão mais pobre
mostra uma certa reverência à sua honra.
Não o deixam governar nem sua própria cabeça.
Pressão demais faz ele perder as esperanças
De sonhar livre, livre de sonhar com submissão.
