Missed a turn today
The road I found brought me back to yesterday
An old beat-up van that never ran
A boss I couldn't stand

Said I'm on my way
Despite those reasons that I should have stayed
Dreams in hand without a plan
Is a lonely time for a man

In books and pictures, magazines
When people are telling how they found their dreams
