You came like a shadow in the dark

While the blood poured out of the hole in my chest

And I died there, trying to catch my breath
My blood kept running through your hands

And my eyes grew heavier every second
Like the whole world was falling apart
Everything became distant and cold
Like I was sinking into endless black
And with every final heartbeat
I lost the man I used to be

But watching you stare, and stay the same
