Eu estava andando pela ruaI was walking down the street
Com a cabeça erguida e os bolsos cheios de sonhosWith my head held high and my pockets filled with dreams
E caí em um buracoAnd I feel into a hole
Falei pra mim mesmo quem colocou esse buraco aquiI said to myself who put that hole there
Quem colocou isso aqui com certeza é malvadoWhoever put it there sure is mean
Então eu me levantei do buracoSo I picked myself up out of the hole
Tirei a poeira de mim e segui meu caminhoDusted myself off and went on my merry way

Capítulo DoisChapter Two
Eu estava andando pela mesma ruaI was walking down the same street
Me sentindo bemFeeling good
E caí em um buracoAnd I fell into a hole
Falei pra mim mesmo quem colocou esse buraco aquiI said to myself who put this hole there
Quem colocou isso aqui com certeza é malvadoWhoever put it there sure is mean
Então eu subi do buraco, tirei a poeira de mim e segui meu caminhoSo I climbed up out of the hole and I dusted myself off went on my way
E lembrei de pensar que nem todo mundo te ama como sua mãeAnd remember thinking not everybody loves you like your mother

Falei buraco, você não vai me pegar maisI said hole you won't get me no more
Eu joguei um pouco de terra no buracoI kicked some dirt into the hole

Que eu aprendi a viverThat I learned how to live
Estou vivendo o que aprendiI'm living what I learned
