Last Train Ever

Wouldn’t wanna miss my part after all
So, I keep my pose on stage
But the curtain won’t fall
Someone somewhere else just
Might catch that certain train

Am I the first one up
Or where did everyone go?
Is it all a long prelude
Or did I just miss the show?
What if someone somewhere
Else is out there playing my part
What if my train went yesterday
And no one cares to tell me I am late

But what if I'm not concentrating
And suddenly the light’s on me
That would be the most horrible fate
So, I think I’ll just keep my pose and wait
