One Day
Had to run from my home if you can call it that,
Grabbed my cd's and an overstuffed backpack.
Things got hot with my moms and pop,
night after night they blew up the spot.
Throwing plates and pots, shit's got to stop man,
gotta break out let the pressure drop.
Too extreme kid when you're only a teen,
can't believe what they're putting me in between.
Maybe one day it will all make sense,
a tight offense is still the best defense.
Don't even know if I can trust my friends,
taking anything just to make this end.
Cheap wine, hustles, drugs and streetcrime,
sleeping at the flicks turning tricks hard times.
Wake up th streets calls out my name,
should be in school, but I'm beggin for change.
Keep things moving by showing and proving,
on the street by myself what the hell am I doing?
Somehow one day, someway anyway,
better look out world I got a lot to say.
It's my time to shine, need to get what's mine,
make a move to the future leave the past behind,

Um Dia
Tive que fugir de casa, se é que dá pra chamar assim,
Peguei meus CDs e uma mochila cheia até a boca.
As coisas esquentaram com meus pais,
noite após noite eles explodiam a situação.
Jogando pratos e panelas, isso tem que acabar, cara,
preciso sair, deixar a pressão baixar.
É muito extremo, garoto, quando você é só um adolescente,
não consigo acreditar no que estão me colocando entre.
Talvez um dia tudo faça sentido,
uma defesa forte ainda é a melhor defesa.
Nem sei se posso confiar nos meus amigos,
pegando qualquer coisa só pra fazer isso acabar.
Vinho barato, trambiques, drogas e crime de rua,
dormindo no cinema, fazendo malabarismos em tempos difíceis.
Acordo, as ruas chamam meu nome,
deveria estar na escola, mas estou pedindo trocado.
Mantendo as coisas em movimento, mostrando e provando,
na rua sozinho, o que diabos estou fazendo?
De alguma forma, um dia, de algum jeito, de qualquer forma,
melhor ficar esperto, mundo, eu tenho muito a dizer.
É minha hora de brilhar, preciso conquistar o que é meu,
fazer um movimento para o futuro, deixar o passado pra trás,
Tem uma fatia no céu, vou pegar um pedaço,
quero estar em paz.
