A time that we all would like to forget
Still lives in the memory of many
With violence, they seized power
With torture, they shut up many voices
Our freedom has been confiscated
By uniformed idiots who thought they knew the truth
The blood of many innocent people
Who fought for a democratic country
Echoed through the hell basements
Lead years
Black clouds of our history
Unimaginable atrocities
Those who tried to be against the system suffered
Many were tortured till death
Many were separated from their parents
With no explanation
Even so there was a hope
Brave men and women
Rebelled against dictatorship
And fought until the day on which
The freedom of speech and the end of censorship
Were a reality for everyone
