The Masque Of Red Death
A plague has assaulted the prince's land
He locked it outside the castle gate
Only the wealthy were safe this way
As they began to worry about their fate
"I've seen them die, heard their cry
And watched you flee
Now I arrived, brought my scythe
Red death is near... "
The prince ordered a ball to ease their minds
Seven rooms filled with colorful tones
But all there present, dressed in masks
Avoided that room - the red & black one
From inside that room the clock made its sound
The music stopped, their hearts turned to ice
And the ball goes on and on, into the night
Until the red guest reveals his disguise
"Who dares insult us with this blasphemous mockery?
Seize him, unmask him and bring him here"
The guest walks calmly towards the other room
No one dares to reach him, they all show fear
The prince, with a dagger, chases him through the door
The door to the black room, they all died instantly
"And darkness, decay and the red death
Held illimitable dominion over
All. "
A Máscara da Morte Vermelha
Uma praga atacou a terra do príncipe
Ele trancou tudo do lado de fora do castelo
Só os ricos estavam seguros assim
Enquanto começavam a se preocupar com seu destino
"Eu os vi morrer, ouvi seu grito
E te vi fugir
Agora eu cheguei, trouxe minha foice
A morte vermelha está próxima..."
O príncipe ordenou um baile pra acalmar a mente
Sete salas cheias de tons coloridos
Mas todos ali presentes, vestidos de máscaras
Evitaram aquela sala - a vermelha e preta
De dentro daquela sala o relógio fez seu som
A música parou, seus corações congelaram
E o baile continua, noite adentro
Até que o convidado vermelho revele sua máscara
"Quem se atreve a nos insultar com essa blasfêmia?
Prendam-no, desmascarem-no e tragam-no aqui"
O convidado caminha calmo em direção à outra sala
Ninguém se atreve a alcançá-lo, todos mostram medo
O príncipe, com uma adaga, o persegue pela porta
A porta da sala preta, todos morreram instantaneamente
"E a escuridão, a decadência e a morte vermelha
Tiveram domínio ilimitado sobre
Todos."
