Human Kind, a pale perversion
Our creed forged in resistance
Shrouded by disenchantment, succumbed to our futility
God the explication, Devoted to his people
Pressing through our unrest and abhorrence
Our way is hollow. Unending hunger and desire
Victory, an outcome out of reach alone
Our impasse, yet a choice remains
A shadow cast from subsistence
Our sense of control built on illusion
