Simple But Proud

A new day has dawned
The Sun rises again
The birds sing in the trees
Announcing, the bright Sun

I feel like a new man
With a renewed soul
Breathing deep, this is my life
I walk the line, do not waste time
That's how I am, simple proud

The field still covered
With the night dew
Fire warms the water
That lights up my day

I see through the window, a great day it is
There is nothing to stop me
The sweet smell of grass
The cool wind on my face
The beauty of life I'll embrace

With my dirty clothes
I'll have a hard day's work
I'll believe in this road
With the tools in my hands

I will work with my mind
But do not forget, my soul
With this life I keep on
Why would I want more?
