A Waking Nightmare
Allow me to introduce you to the beat of tempered blood.
Rhythmically pulsing through you and off the skins atop your mind.
Growing afraid... something draws near.
Shadows dancing on curtains.
Listening to footsteps in the snow outside your window...
headed for the door.
There's a chill in the air at 2:13.
You're not alone my dear, no, this isn't a dream.
A knocking on the door.
Will you let it in?
Forget to lock the door
and strangers may come in
uninvited.
You start to breathe more heavy beneath the covers on your bed.
And the wind only laughs at you as it knows of what you dread,
now wandering inside.
Creaking floorboards and breaking of glass out in the hallway:
Warning you that there is little time and
no escape from this icy, gripping fate.
And to a dead end, shivers kiss your spine.
A figure hovers in darkness waiting to find you behind the door,
if it may come in.
Shadows cross the floor and glide over your skin.
A waking nightmare... oh no.

Um pesadelo
Permita-me apresentar-lhe a batida de sangue temperado.
Ritmicamente pulsante através de você e fora das peles em cima de sua mente.
Crescendo com medo ... algo se aproxima.
Sombras que dançam em cortinas.
Ouvindo passos na neve fora de sua janela ...
dirigiu para a porta.
Há um frio no ar às 2:13.
Você não está sozinho meu querido, não, isso não é um sonho.
A bater à porta.
Você vai deixá-lo em?
Esqueça de trancar a porta
e estranhos podem vir em
sem ser convidado.
Você começa a respirar mais pesado debaixo das cobertas em sua cama.
E o vento só ri de você, pois sabe do que medo de você,
agora vagando dentro.
Rangente assoalho e quebra de vidros no corredor:
Avisando que há pouco tempo e
não escapar desse destino, gelada emocionante.
E para um beco sem saída, calafrios beijar sua coluna.
A figura paira na escuridão à espera de encontrá-lo atrás da porta,
se ele pode vir dentro
Sombras atravessar o chão e deslizar sobre a pele.
Um pesadelo ... oh não.
