Comecei a ceder ao pecadoStarted to give in to sin

Resumindo, quando cheguei no primeiro ano da faculdadeLong story short, by the time I got into my freshman year of college

E então eu acordei no meu segundo ano completamente quebrado, totalmente inseguroAnd so I woke up my sophomore year, just completely broken, fully insecure

É difícil até olhar para fotos minhasIt's hard to even look back at pictures of myself

Vi que essa Igreja tinha um culto na quarta-feira à noite para, tipo, o ministério universitárioI saw this church service had a Wednesday night service for, like, the college ministry
E então cheguei, tipo, uma hora atrasado, e, humAnd so I showed up like an hour late to that, and um
Quando saí do carro, o estacionamento estava vazio, o saguão estava vazio, tudoI walked out, the parking lot was empty, the foyer was empty everything
Abri as portas e, simplesmente, entrei naquele aroma forte de adoração, de verdadeI opened up the doors, and just this, I walked into this rich aroma of worship, really
Era algo cheio do Espírito, tipo, a Igreja inteira tinha jejuado por três diasIt was like this spirit-filled thing where like the whole church had fasted for three days
E tudo era tipo uma adoração estendida de seis horas, e eu entrei bem no meio daquiloAnd everything was like an extended six-hour worship, and I walked right in the middle of that

E, ah, eu só me lembro de ter passado pelas portas e, cara, eu já me sentia mais leveAnd uh I just remember walking through the doors and man I feel lighter already
Tipo, eu senti que, sabe, senti que aquele peso tinha saído de mimLike I feel like you know I feel like this baggage left me
E então entrei no santuárioAnd then I walked into the sanctuary
Eu não consigo explicar, eu não eu não consigo explicar, mas eu encontrei JesusI can't explain, I can't I can't explain it but I encountered Jesus
Eu encontrei o Espírito Santo, é, amémI encountered the holy spirit, yeah amen

É como o mundo espiritual é tão interessante porqueIt's like the spiritual realm is so interesting because
A gente não vê EleWe can't see him
A gente não vê Ele, mas Ele é uma pessoaWe can't see him, but he is a person

Então eu entrei naquela sala, e encontrei uma pessoaSo I walked into that room, and I met a person
Falei com uma pessoaI spoke to a person
Fui abraçado por uma pessoaI was held by a person
Recebi vida de uma pessoaI was breathed life into by a person
E, olha, eu me ajoelhei e clamei a JesusAnd see I got on my knees and I cried out to Jesus
Eu disse: Jesus, eu eu estou cansado de viver a vida por mim mesmo, eu estou cansado das decisões que estou tomandoI said: Jesus, I'm I'm sick and tired of living life for myself. I'm sick and tired of the decisions I'm making
Eu quero que o Senhor entre na minha vidaI want you to come into my life
Eu quero que o Senhor me torne uma nova pessoaI want you to make me a new person
Estou entregando minha vida ao SenhorI'm living my life for you

Oito anos ou mais caminhando de verdade com o SenhorEight years or so into my walk with my true walk with the lord

Eu nem fazia ideia, é tão loucoI didn't even realise, it's just so crazy
Ele tem tipo 93 anos agora, eu pergunto pra eleHe's like 93 now, I ask him
Vovô, qual é qual é o sentido da vida?Granddad, what is, what is the meaning of life
Sabe, quando você olha pra sua vida, é uma conversa bem pesadaYou know when you look back on your life, it's a pretty heavy conversation
Mas ele lida com leveza, ele diz algo como: Eu só quero passar mais tempo com JesusHe handles it lightly, he's just like, I just want to spend more time with Jesus
O que é louco, porque ele está prestes a, sabe, passar mais tempo com JesusWhich is crazy 'cause he's about to you know, be spending more time with Jesus
Ele disse: Eu não desejaria nada mais do que passar mais tempo com JesusHe said I woudln't wish anything but to just spend more time with Jesus

Então, é, se, hum, se eu pudesse resumir tudo isso em duas palavrasSo, yeah, if uh, if I could summarise all that into two words
Seria: Não espereIt would be 'don't wait'

Porque Jesus está voltando em breveBecause Jesus is coming back soon
E quando Ele voltar, você vai com Ele ou vai ficar aqui?And when he comes back, are you going to go with him or are you going to stay here?

E eu só eu sei que pelo menos uma pessoa aí sente esse mesmo ardor no peito que eu sentiAnd I just, I know some at least one person out there has that same burning in their chest that I had
E eu só quero que você saibaAnd I just want to let you know
Talvez você esteja resistindo a Jesus porque acha que tem vergonha demaisMaybe you're resisting Jesus because you think you're too full of shame
Você fez coisas demais, não tem como Jesus me amarYou've done too many things, there's no way Jesus could love me
Não tem como, eu fiz tanta coisa que nem consigo falarThere's no way, I've done so many things I can't speak on

A Bíblia diz que, enquanto ainda éramos pecadores, Ele morreu por nósThe bible says that while we were still sinners he died for us
E diz que não há nada que possamos fazer que nos separe do Seu amorAnd it says that there is nothing that we could ever do to separate his love from us
Então não háSo there's no
Então não há pecado tão grande que Ele não tenha morrido por eleSo there's no sin too great that he didn't die for
É por isso que Ele morreu, Ele veio para morrer por nosso pecadoThat is why he died, he came to die for our sin
E a Bíblia também diz que, se você confessar com a sua boca que JesusAnd the bible also says that if you confess it with your mouth that Jesus
É o Senhor e crer no seu coração que Ele morreu e ressuscitou, você será salvoIs lord and believe in your heart that he died and rose again you will be saved

Então, se aí no seu coração agora esse é você, e você está sentindo esse ardor, digaSo, in your heart right now if that's you and you're feeling that burning just say
Senhor, eu peço que o Senhor, Jesus, entre no meu coração que o Senhor me faça uma nova pessoaLord, I ask that you, Jesus, would you come into my heart? Would you make me a new person?
Que o Senhor remova o véu dos meus olhos quando eu ler a Escritura que o Senhor me ilumine, SenhorWould you lift the veil from my eyes when I read scripture? Would you enlighten me, lord?
Espírito Santo, faz de mim uma nova pessoaHoly spirit, make me a new person
Eu creio que o Senhor morreu e ressuscitou pelos meus pecadosI believe that you died and rose again for my sins
