What The Hell Have We Done?
On top of the hill,
I look at the sea,
I can hardly believe my eyes.
Where is the shore
There used to be?
What of the woods where I used to hide?
They are all gone.
They disappeared.
Underwater now they lie.
The rise of the seas
Swallowed it up.
This is a nasty surprise!
What the hell have we done
To our home?
We've tempered with nature.
Polluted the globe.
Why did we not listen,
When we were told?
It is of human nature:
You lose and then you want.
And so I run
As fast as I can.
Indignation fills my mind.
Ignorance and disrespect
Have been the biggest features of our kind.
So I give a piercing scream
Crying out for the nature's fate
Can you hear what I say?
You'd better, if you wanna save what is left.

Onde está a costa
Que costumava existir?
E as florestas onde eu costumava me esconder?
Elas se foram.
Desapareceram.
Agora estão debaixo d'água.
A elevação dos mares
As engoliu.
Essa é uma surpresa horrível!
Que diabo fizemos
Com a nossa casa?
Brincamos com a natureza.
Poluímos o planeta.
Por que não ouvimos,
Quando nos avisaram?
É da natureza humana:
Você perde e depois quer.
E assim eu corro
O mais rápido que posso.
A indignação toma minha mente.
Ignorância e desrespeito
Foram as maiores características da nossa espécie.
Então eu dou um grito agudo
Clamando pelo destino da natureza.
Você consegue ouvir o que eu digo?
É melhor ouvir, se quiser salvar o que sobrou.
