When I met you I was in a dark place
And everything was falling in flames
But when I heard you, it was like I could breathe again
And I could feel my heart in my chest again
It was like a light that called my name so I could get close
It was like a hug, when we need it but we don’t have the strength to ask for one
And since that day I knew we were connected
