It's no fun to wake up
in the morning realizing
that last night you went too far
and someone got really hurt
and now it's too late to explain
or make it up to her
but she will be alright,
very soon she will forget
and so will I, yes I will
But it's so hard when you are young
and you don't quite know what to do
and you still think it's important to do
all the right things causing you to
come on too strong whenever you feel insecure
but I guess you're bound to grow up
