Quando acordei esta manhã, algo dentro de mim me disse que hoje seria meu dia
Ouvi o trem da manhã, senti o vento mudar, muitas vezes estou a caminho
Vai, sol, o que você pode me mostrar
Para onde você pode me levar para eu entender
O vento pode me abalar, irmãos me abandonam
A chuva pode me tocar, mas eu posso tocar a chuva?
E então eu vi o nascer do sol acima do céu de algodão como um doce de bala
Vi o leiteiro, vi o homem de negócios, vi a única estrada à vista
Então comecei a pensar no que faz você querer ir, saber o porquê e o para quê
Tantas vezes agora, oh Senhor, não consigo lembrar se é setembro ou julho
Então, de repente, tudo se clareou, vi o porquê, e você pode ver se tentar
Está no sol lá em cima, está na pessoa que você ama, você nunca saberá o motivo
