The Forgotten Winter
The harsh chill of winter
coupled with despair
the cease of sunlight hours
daylight crippled there
the bleakness of the grey sky
casts away the warmth
the bare limbs of the mighty trees
sway with the desolate wind
The stricken cries of the afterglow
flow free with the coming of winter
whereas the sun once beamed upon the land
the chill sends a nocturnal shiver
down the spine of the centuries dead
debauchery and decadence reign
where we the damned call out to find
the omnipresence of oppressors slain
The acrid stench
of seasons spent
attempting to retrieve
lost gold.
But through the gales
that they past traits
will leave nothing but
their broken skulls.
The tingling sense of the cold touch
sends ethereal tendrils (surging) into my heart
As the centuries forgotten creep towards their path
Light disappears for the dawn of an eternal night
The chill of the void enters
from below as befits the weak
the snow lies dead in its expanse across the land
hoping that soon the sun will dawn again...
O Inverno Esquecido
O frio cortante do inverno
junto com o desespero
o fim das horas de sol
luz do dia se esvaiu lá
a tristeza do céu cinza
afasta o calor
os galhos nus das árvores fortes
balançam com o vento desolado
Os gritos feridos do crepúsculo
fluem livres com a chegada do inverno
onde antes o sol brilhava sobre a terra
o frio manda um arrepio noturno
pela espinha dos séculos mortos
deboche e decadência reinam
onde nós, os condenados, clamamos para encontrar
a onipresença dos opressores mortos
O cheiro acre
de estações passadas
tentando recuperar
o ouro perdido.
Mas através das tempestades
que eles deixaram pra trás
não restará nada além
de seus crânios quebrados.
A sensação arrepiada do toque frio
envia tentáculos etéreos (avançando) para meu coração
Enquanto os séculos esquecidos se arrastam em seu caminho
A luz desaparece para o amanhecer de uma noite eterna
O frio do vazio entra
de baixo, como convém aos fracos
a neve jaz morta em sua extensão pela terra
esperando que logo o sol nasça novamente...
