CHEMICAL HEAVEN

There are worms writhing around me
I see rapists escape the guillotine, again
The removal of a holy entity
Now she searches for heaven
In benzodiazepine

So now she sleeps, bed soaked in sweat
The paranoia has maimed her
Trauma hidden deep, it tore through her skin
As you cut the wings from an angel

Underneath the sparkling skin
Colorless sensations creep their way in
Trying to remove from her all that is pure
Until she's left hollowed out
Pale-faced on the bathroom floor
