You of this age
different it be
for the first time of an age
man has the technology to destroy
the earth and the egotism to
posses the power without fear
Mans capacity for destruction
global disregard for this earth
a living being which sustains us
pollution a gripping reality
one which is killing us both
physically and spiritually
but so slowly it goes unnoticed
out of sight
out of mind
seemingly clear air fills our lungs
water from industrial waste that appears clear
imbalance caused by careless
slaughter of rain forests and their inhabitants
mankind is capable of killing the planet
and is selfishly, blindly doing so.

é diferente, eu sei
pela primeira vez na história
o homem tem a tecnologia pra destruir
a Terra e o egoísmo de
possuir o poder sem medo
A capacidade do homem para a destruição
indiferença global por esta Terra
a vida que nos sustenta
poluição, uma realidade sufocante
que está nos matando aos poucos
fisicamente e espiritualmente
mas tão devagar que passa despercebido
fora de vista
fora da mente
aparentemente o ar limpo enche nossos pulmões
água de resíduos industriais que parece limpa
desequilíbrio causado pela imprudência
massacre das florestas tropicais e seus habitantes
a humanidade é capaz de matar o planeta
e está fazendo isso de forma egoísta e cega.
