An owl that shriek'd was to give a fearfull night
whose ebon embrace enshrouds the contours of the scenery.
To bring the counterfeit of death,
a gruesome Gorgon to destroy the sight.
O seeling night, scarf up the tender eyes of pitifull day...
And with thy bloody and invisible hand
cancel and tear to pieces that great bond!
And I, evok'd by the moon's eclipse,
to stand aye acursed in the chronicles.
Fallen like the brightest one
- to walk upon infected soil...

und dunkles Nachtgetier erwacht zum Raub.

cujo abraço ébano envolve os contornos da paisagem.
Para trazer o falso da morte,
uma Górgona horrenda para destruir a visão.
Ó noite sombria, cubra os olhos tenros do dia miserável...
E com tua mão invisível e ensanguentada
cancele e despedaçe esse grande laço!
E eu, evocado pela eclipse da lua,
para ficar sempre amaldiçoado nas crônicas.
Caído como o mais brilhante
- a andar sobre solo infectado...
A noite encobre o rosto do dia,
escurece as folhas da floresta.
Cede à fraca luz da noite
e criaturas escuras da noite despertam para a caça.
"Onde você esteve, ó estranha eminência?
Criador dos artefatos cristalinos,
você entregou sua virtude para ascender?
Fechado... no gelo brilhante do éter!".
Fazendo guerra com os filhos da humanidade
- mais vezes de joelhos do que em pé,
morrendo a cada dia que vivem,
flutuando em direção ao seu próprio fim.
