Now I've been workin at this company for three years,
You think by then that I'd earned some respect.
But the company is run by high corporate fagots.
Who're only interested in gaining more profit.
And when I thought I wasn't getting my fair share,
And I asked for a bigger cut of the wealth,
They just told me to think again,
And said that they could find someone else.
Employer's market nah they don't give a shit.
Still at this company for the fourth year
Guess I'm too lazy to find a better job.
Maybe I'll see if k-marts' still hirin,
Or get an application at Jack-in-the-Box.
And when I got caught out to lunch early,
I got a lecture for 10 min long and then he fired me right there at 1:30.
That's what inspired me to write this song.
Mercado do Empregador
Agora eu tô trabalhando nessa empresa há três anos,
Você acha que já ganhei algum respeito.
Mas a empresa é comandada por uns executivos escrotos.
Que só se interessam em lucrar mais.
E quando eu pensei que não tava recebendo minha parte justa,
E pedi uma fatia maior da grana,
Eles só me disseram pra pensar de novo,
E disseram que podiam achar alguém melhor.
Mercado do empregador, ah, eles não tão nem aí.
Ainda nessa empresa no quarto ano
Acho que sou preguiçoso demais pra procurar um emprego melhor.
Talvez eu veja se o K-Mart ainda tá contratando,
Ou pegue uma ficha no Jack-in-the-Box.
E quando me pegaram almoçando mais cedo,
Eu levei uma bronca de 10 minutos e aí ele me mandou embora na hora, às 1:30.
Foi isso que me inspirou a escrever essa música.
