Nós ouvimos falar de uma terra cujos céus azuis e etéreosWe have heard of a land on whose blue, ether skies

Nós ouvimos falar dessa terra, e sua glória buscamos,We have heard of that land, and its glory we seek,
Onde os fiéis com Jesus habitarão,Where the faithful with Jesus shall dwell,
Onde as rosas da juventude nunca murcham da face,Where the roses of youth never fade from the cheek,
E os lábios nunca murmuram, "Adeus."And the lips never murmur, "Farewell."
