Praise Him Jerusalem

I hear a voice
Crying out in the desert
Prepare a road
Prepare for the Lord
Make straight His paths
For He is coming
And very soon
You will behold the Savior

Praise the Lord your God
He has strengthened your gates
And blessed your children
He has filled you with peace
And brings you
The bread of heaven

He sends forth His word
His voice runs swiftly
From the mist
The veil descends
Uniting Earth and Heaven
The clouds dissolve
The wind moves forward

Praise Him, Jerusalem
Praise the Lord your God
He has strengthened your gates
And blessed your children
He has filled you with peace
And brings you
The bread of heaven

To His people
He revealed words of love
He gave us His law
And His commandment
With no one else
Did He act this way
He loved us all
He loved us to the end

The virgin mother shall be
A child she will bring forth
His name: Emmanuel
God from heaven with us
He will reject all evil
And choose what is good

Let us praise the Father in heaven
And sing to the One who comes
And offer our praise to the Divine
The Three who are one God
Let His people exalt Him
