When a man has to learn to walk alone
No stars above
That will light him the way

Then he must teach his heart
To brave the lonely night
Till the light of a bright new day

There comes a time
And a man has to face that time alone
Dark though it be, he must face it somehow

Then it is true, my friend, the longest night must end
