What Nobody Sees

One more night
Of any other night
Where the silence illuminates me
I feel the presence
Of time marking destiny
My steps, as I walk, echo in the solitude
But the air I breathe seems different
There's something in this night that
That calls out
A formless message that speaks to me, and won't calm down

Dry dust was breathed in the night
Like a secret floating in the air
Everything said there was no reason to fear
That invisible dust, that formless and nameless sadness
Warned me that pain would come, without anyone naming it

My absent soul
For no apparent reason fades away
As if something invisible were calling me to follow it
I wanted to ignore it, I wanted to breathe deeply
But an inner call kept pushing me forward
As if someone, in the shadows, needed my presence
But on that night, I couldn't discover the essence

Lights on, without solace
Every face seemed wrapped in grief

I didn't know if it was fate or just a dream
But I felt as if something was being lost in nothingness
And yet, I stood firm
In case someone needed my faith, without believing

There are times when the soul knows before the eyes or the skin
That something is going to break, even if the world says it's fine

And so I stayed
What no one sees
Staring into nothingness, my soul in suspense
What no one sees
Still floated
Leaving an invisible scar on me
Which was just another night, which
For the rest of the world
