Gather round ye people

And mind you listen well

I got an epic tale to tell you

From the land of tamriel

I was traveling north of cyrodil

In the province of skyrim

I had just arrived in whiterun

And that's where i met him

Well, to me he looked like

Just another guard

Walking down the street

But to him, it seemed

I stuck right out

Like a bald khajiit

And he walked right up to me

With a look of nostalgia in his eye

He said, "we are not so different,..."

"... You and i."

Then he said

"I used to be an adventurer like you,"

"But then i took an arrow in the knee!"

"Just ask any of my fellow guards—"

"They'll tell you that it's true—"

"That i took an arrow in the knee!"

Well he told me he was on duty

So he couldn't stay to chat

Someone stole a sweetroll

And he was investigating that

I said, "don't let me hold you up, sir."

And then we parted ways

I mumbled to myself

"This is looking like one of those days."

I was feeling kind of tired

Decided to head right for the inn

But i'd never been here before

Didn't know what direction it was in

I walked up to another guard

And asked him where i could find a bed

He looked at me

Then he smiled, and then he said

"I used to be an adventurer like you,"

"But then i took an arrow in the knee!"

"Just ask any of my fellow guards—"

"They'll tell you that it's true—"

"That i took an arrow in the knee!"

"An arrow in the kneeeeeeeeeeee!"

The first one was kind of random

But now i was freaking out

I was thinking i should run away

Or use a dragon shout

I was starting to calm down

And that's when i looked up and saw

Another guard

Coming right toward me!

That's when i said

"Fus ro dah!"

Well in retrospect

That turned out to be

Not the greatest plan

Now I'm sprinting for the stables—

Running as fast as i can

But it's just my luck—

The stablemaster knows how to use a bow

Now he's aiming fo rmy legs!

Oh noooooooooooooo!

"I used to be an adventurer like you,"

"But then i took an arrow in the knee!"

"Just ask any of my fellow guards—"

"They'll tell you that it's true—"

"We've all taken arrows in the knee!"

"An arrow in the kneeeeeeeeeeee!"

(So very painful!)

Eu estava viajando ao norte de Cyrodil

Na província de skyrim

Eu tinha acabado de chegar em Whiterun

E foi aí que eu o conheci

Bem, para mim ele parecia

Apenas outro guarda

Caminhando pela rua

Mas para ele, parecia

Eu fiquei de fora

Como um khajiit careca

E ele caminhou até mim

Com um olhar de nostalgia nos olhos

Ele disse: "nós não somos tão diferentes, ..."

"... Você e eu."

Então ele disse

"Eu costumava ser um aventureiro como você,"

"Mas então eu peguei uma flecha no joelho!"

"Basta perguntar a qualquer um dos meus colegas guardas ..."

"Eles vão te dizer que é verdade-"

"Que eu peguei uma flecha no joelho!"

Bem, ele me disse que estava de plantão

Então ele não poderia ficar para conversar

Alguem roubou um sweetroll

E ele estava investigando que

Eu disse: “não me deixe segurar você, senhor”.

E então nos separamos

Eu murmurei para mim mesmo

"Está parecendo um daqueles dias."

Eu estava me sentindo meio cansado

Decidi ir direto para a pousada

Mas eu nunca estive aqui antes

Não sabia em que direção estava

Eu fui até outro guarda

E perguntei a ele onde eu poderia encontrar uma cama

Ele olhou para mim

Então ele sorriu, e então disse

"Eu costumava ser um aventureiro como você,"

"Mas então eu peguei uma flecha no joelho!"

"Basta perguntar a qualquer um dos meus colegas guardas ..."

"Eles vão te dizer que é verdade-"

O primeiro foi meio aleatório

Mas agora eu estava pirando

Eu estava pensando que deveria fugir

Ou use um grito de dragão

Eu estava começando a me acalmar

E foi quando eu olhei para cima e vi

Outro guarda

Vindo direto em minha direção!

Foi quando eu disse

"Fus ro dah!"

Bem, em retrospecto

Isso acabou por ser

Não é o melhor plano

Agora estou correndo para os estábulos -

Correndo o mais rápido que posso

Mas é apenas minha sorte-

O estável mestre sabe como usar um arco

Agora ele está mirando nas minhas pernas!

Oh nãoooooooooooooo!

(Muito doloroso!)
