Os animais eram lindos em seus amarelos, vermelhos e azuisThe animals were beautiful in their yellows, reds and blues

Mas nas sombras de sua vitória, encontramos uma jaula silenciosaBut in shadows of their victory, we did find a silent cage
E o animal que lá vivia não parecia querer brincarAnd the animal that lived there didn't seem to want to play
Olhamos entre as barras enferrujadas através da escuridão da jaulaWe looked between the rusty bars through the darkness of the cage
E de repente vimos a tristeza enquanto o tigre plumas estava deitadoAnd suddenly we saw the sad as the feathered tiger lay
Encontramos uma chave, abrimos as barras da cela do tigre plumasWe found a key, unlocked the bars of the feathered tiger's cell
E com palavras de bondade pedimos que ele nos contasse sua históriaAnd with words of kindness begged him his story to us would tell

Mas ele estava tão assustado, disse que iríamos rir deleBut he was so very scared, he said we would laugh at him
Então o levamos para o sol e brincamos, mas deixamos ele ganharSo we led him to the sunshine and played games but let him win
Todos nós brincamos entre as cores no pequeno zoológico mágicoWe all played amongst the colours in the little magic zoo
E logo ele estava muito mais feliz e nós também o amamosAnd soon he was much happier and we both loved him too
Mas a noite chegou rapidamente e o tigre plumas chorouBut the evening drew in swiftly and the feathered tiger cried
Ele estava triste porque tínhamos que ir e o sol desapareceu do céuHe was sad because we had to leave and the sun slipped from the sky

Mas dissemos a ele para agir corajosamente e nunca se sentir sujoBut we told him to act bravely and to never feel unclean
Ele era o único tigre plumas que nós dois já havíamos vistoHe was the only feathered tiger that we both had ever seen
