De água que não estava lá antes ...
Of water that was not there before…

Um fluxo de cantar tinha crescido durante a noite
A singing stream had grown overnight
Séculos de idade, com pedras lisas cobertas de musgo
Centuries old, with smooth stones covered in moss
O caminho para o bosque é ultrapassado
The path to the grove is overtaken
Sua fonte bolhas acima de debaixo da terra
Its source bubbles up from under the earth
A partir da semente ...
From the seed…

O poeta bebeu água doce a partir de um cálice mãos em concha
The poet drank sweet water from a cupped hands chalice
Ele foi batizado no córrego por uma pomba
He was baptized at the stream by a mourning dove
Toda a beleza do mundo estava em seu
All the loveliness in the world was in her
Toda a tristeza fluiu na floresta e no ar
All the sadness flowed out into the forest and into thin air
Árvores Névoa-embalados, as mortalhas esfarrapados de noite, enquanto ela
Mist-wrapped trees, the tattered shrouds of night, as she
Chamou a jusante
Beckoned downstream

Nada senão a morte, o beijo eterno da rainha
Nothing but death, the ageless kiss of the queen
A coisa mais bonita é a imortal invisível
The most beautiful thing is the deathless unseen

Sem fim para as águas milagrosas que transmitir adiante da terra
No end to the miraculous waters that stream forth from the earth
E o fluxo cresceu na realeza azul de um rio
And the stream grew into the blue royalty of a river
As cascatas que caem fora como vidas em éter
The cascades that tumble away like lives into the æther
Surgiu diante incessante como tempo perdido
Surged forth ceaseless like wasted time

Como a lua cresceu gordura com dias
As the moon grew fat with days
O rio se arregalaram e teceu o seu caminho
The river widened and wove its way
Deeper em meio à névoa e as árvores
Deeper into the mist and the trees
Como uma rima inacabada, como uma brisa carregada de tristeza
As an unfinished rhyme, as a grief-laden breeze
